Welcome to the SLIDI FOUNDATION Cultural Committee page. Our main objectives are to:
- Promote our Cultural Heritage within Sierra Leone and the international community.
- Seek Cultural Heritage support from Mainstream Service providers to benefit the country.
- Motivate our community to practice and preserve our culture through self-help projects.
Our current project ‘SLIDI Cultural Harmonisation’ is formed of volunteers working on promoting cultural events such as Afro Caribbean Fashion, Arts and Crafts, Tropical Party nights, Carnivals and Festivals and many more for members education and entertainment purposes. Our Cultural Heritage Committee, in association with International fund donors, the Arts Council and other Culture-related organisations, is actively pursuing suitable deals and strategies that would benefit our community. Volunteers are invited to join us in this Committee to help SLIDI achieve its objectives.
